Marquette University was one of nine employers with 700 or more employees to be
recognized by Milwaukee Magazine with a Great Place to Work award.
Milwaukee Magazine confirmed what Marquette University employees already know: This is a great place to work.
Marquette was the only educational institution honored in the annual "Great Places to Work" edition that recognized 37 Milwaukee-area companies. The other businesses in the "large company" category were Johnson Financial Group, Medical Associates Health Center, Children's Hospital and Health System, Robert W. Baird & Co., Assurant Health, Froedtert & Community Health, Marshall and Ilsley Corp and Brady Corporation.
Marquette was singled out for its commitment to mission, tuition remission benefit and generous retirement plan which, the magazine said, all contribute to employees' passion and loyalty.
